Vintage Section on August 21st 2008

The Edward Jones ring in the Vintage area provides all day entertainment to the Vintage and Classic enthusiast. The rare and the unusual join forces with such stalwarts of the industry as the Fergie bach. Each year sees the section spotlighting a car or machine and will provide a taste of how the work progressed from the majestic Shire Horse to the advances given by tractor mounted implements.

Classic and Vintage Cars of yesteryear balance the display – chat to the owners and hear wonderful stories of how their magnificently restored or cared for vehicle started life.

Visit the Stationery Engine section – the steady putt-putt of these machines introduces you to the early mechanisation that proved so invaluable to many rural dwellings.

Also in the section are motorcycles and even hand tools and other items from the past on display, making this section is a show within the Show and could take you some time to visit!
