Become a member of the Show Society

Becoming a Member of the Denbighshire and Flintshire Agricultural Society takes all of the hassle out of your Showday, and means that you can just come along and enjoy yourselves.

There are four levels of Membership to ensure that you options are all taken into account – Single, Family, Vice President and Junior.

Children under five access the Show free of charge, then from five to fourteen years they are a Child, then from fifteen to eighteen year, they become Juniors. All Members have free admission to the Show and the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting and to participate in the election of Officers and Members of the Management Committee. The voting right does not apply to Junior or Child Members.

The following information details the benefits of each level of Membership:

 

Vice President £40 - if paid by standing order before 1st July each year.  Thereafter, £50
One Vice President pass plus one Vice President Guest, plus two Child passes. Forward parking pass for one car, unlimited access to the Vice President's Main Ringside enclosure, including the bar and dining area and invitation to the Show President's lunchtime drinks reception.

It is not necessary to have been a Member before becoming a Vice President, and an existing Member can upgrade at any time.

Family  Membership £30 - This replaces by popular demand, the old Dual Membership
Two Members passes plus TWO Child pass. Forward parking pass for one car and unlimited access to the Members' Main Ringside enclosure, including the bar and dining area.

Single Member £12 - if paid by standing order before the 1st July each year.  Thereafter, £15
One Members' pass plus forward parking pass for one car. Unlimited access to the Members' Main Ringside enclosure, including the bar and dining area.

Junior Member £5
Up to 18 years of age. One Junior Members' pass and unlimited access to the Members' Main Ringside enclosure and dining area.

All Society Member may take advantage of reduced entry fees into competitions, details of which are shown in the appropriate schedule for each section. Membership subscriptions become due on the 1st of January each year.

Please note: Forward Parking facilities are time limited to 10.30 a.m. on Show morning or may be restricted due to Health and Safety considerations at the discretion of the Hon. Showyard Director.  Limited froward parking is available for Disabled Members, and general parking for disabled is also available subject to space uptake on the day.

To become a Member, you can either forward a cheque payable to the Denbighshire and Flintshire Agricultural Society Ltd to the Society office at 1 Cross Street, Holywell, Flintshire, CH8 7LP, detailing the level of Membership you require, or, download the following standing order form and forward that to the same address.
