OTHER EVENTS

The Society runs a number of social and fundraising events during the Autumn and Winter months. 

September 2005 saw a Funride across the wonderful farmland of Bryn Tangor Farm, just on the outskirts of Corwen, where in conjunction with fundraising for the British Heart Foundation, riders explored the stunning scenerey of this end of Denbighshire. Watch this space for the date of the next ride in September 2006.

OCTOBER 21ST 2005

SOCIETY ANNUAL DINNER, this year took us to a new venue at the Plas Hafod, Gwernymynydd near Mold.

110 Members and their guests enjoyed a wonderful meal with entertainment by Mr Gareth Vaughan and Team.  A great night.

NOVEMBER 4TH 2005

This evening was especially for the ladies - A FASHION SHOW took place at the Bod Erw Hotel, St Asaph.  A few brave Gents came along and gave their assistance to carry the purchases home!

          

NOVEMBER 24TH 2005

Our POTTERIES SPREE whichlincluded a visit to the wonderful Bridgemere Gardens.  Just £10 gave a fully escorted coach tour of some of the best outlets the Potteries of Stoke-on Trent have to offer, and of course, the chance to do some serious Christmas shopping with an entire coach to bring it home for you!  Tjese girls certainly know how to shop!

DECEMBER 2ND 2005

Bringing in the Christmas spirit in style, our CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS AT OAKENHOLT FARM.  Mr & Mrs L Hulme kindly opened their home to us to begin the celebrations for Christmas, with entertainment by Dafydd Huw, International Harpist.  Tickets were strictly limited in number, and it was a wonderful opening to the season.  Impromptu performances by other guests added an unexpected bonus to the evening and all agreed, it was a super evening of socialising.

CHRISTMAS HAMPER DRAW

Thanks to our Chairman, President and Hon. Showyard Director for providing three fabulous Hampers for our 2005 Christmas Draw.  Keep a close eye at the 2006 Show for your chance to purchase tickets for the 2006 Christmas hampers.

SPRING 2006 EVENTS

How about joining us for a relaxing afternoon Cream Tea on Sunday 25th June?  Once again, Mr & Mrs Hulme open their lovely home at Oakenholt Farm to the Society for this event.  Watch this space for details of tickets and prices.
