Call at the Countryside area to see and learn about a rural way of life. Speak with conservationists, gamekeepers, woodsmen and foresters to see how man works to in the modern day to help maintain the balance of nature.

Enjoy the frantic terrier racing and try to work out who is chasing who! Meet the humorous ferrets and play ferret roulette. See the grace and speed of the falconry display by the ever popular handler, Terry Large and spend time talking to him about his birds and how they play their part in the countryside.

Enjoy Charles Jardine and his excellent display of the art of fly casting – then more importantly, how to prepare and cook your catch once you have mastered the craft.
Visit the woodcraft area and see, Paul, the Pole Lathe Turner as he demonstrates his craft using all natural skills and energy.

Sit and enjoy the grace of the side-saddle display and talk to the ladies about its' history and place in the world of riding. Take a seat whilst the carriage driving takes place and admire their skill and grace.
